Anyway, Quan is set to release a mixtape called Carrying the Tradition, as well as a “prelude album” Walking Testimony on Amalgam Digital. He will kick off his first scheduled release, the DJ Vlad and DJ 4Sho-hosted mixtape “Carrying the Tradition,” with the lead single “Un,” produced by former Nas and Ludacris collaborator Ron Browz. “Walking Testimony” will serve as a prelude to Quan’s debut album, and it is slated for a heavily anticipated summer 2009 release that will be promoted with a national “Block” tour, an interactive online/mobile contest, and a unique new reality show titled “Walking Testimony TV.”
